I've been thinking about this for along time, but we think it's time for a competition!
Been going back and forth and trying to figure out a good competition to have, but now we think we got it.

The Competition Goal :
Design a brand spanking new american muscle car concept or redesign a previously produced muscle car into a up-to-date muscle car!

What we would like to see:
¤ Inspiration from the good old muscle cars, when a big block V8 was all you wanted.
¤ Creative design.
¤ Functional design.
¤ Innovative design.
¤ Re-use and/or re-designs of old/allready-produced parts from the brand you choose to make the car.
¤ If the car has been produced back in the days, then been taken out of production, we want to see lines from the previously produced car.
¤ Out standing design. People seeing the designs should'nt wonder if it's a new mustang, a new camaro or a new gt-40. It should not replicate any of the mass producers designs, but inspiration from them is allowed.

The Competition Rules:
#1 : Don't steal other people's work! (Inspiration from other people's work is allowed)

#2: Give constructive critisism to other people's work. (Don't try to make their work look bad because it is'nt yours.)

#3: All that participate must show us atleast three step's in progress of making the design. 3 scraps or pictures sent to conceptautomotivedesign@hotmail.com will do fine.

#4 All submissions must be submitted to conceptautomotivedesign@hotmail.com within the 1. of august 2007.

Later submissions will be posted in our gallery but will not participate in this competition.

Note: Sketch'es is as good as a 3d-model, in this competition we will judge and we'll also see which designs that are favoritised by the most people here on DA.


The Prizes:

Due to my car being totaled in the front, i'm still paying off for my new engine, so i can't really offer any prize-money. Therefor I think it will be Honur and Glory this time.

There for the best designs will be added to our gallery, with a competition logo on it for now.

Best interior design.
Best familiar design. (This is for those who re-design a previously produced car.)
Most powerful design.
Most funtional design.

Popularity titles:
Admin's choice.
People's choice. (Most favoritised design.)
Most commented design.
